John Travolta is kicking off 2019 with a brand new look. The 'Gotti' actor recently shared a picture of himself with his 18-year-old daughter Elle Bleu revealing he has shaved his head.
The picture, which showed Travolta ringing in the new year with his daughter, was captioned: “I hope everyone had a great New Year!” Although it is still not clear whether this is his new look or simply prep for a role. However, fans are loving the new look.
“I gotta say #JohnTravolta looks great as a bald dude,” one user tweeted. “John Travolta is now bald and he definitely pulls it off,” another person tweeted.
One would surely be taken aback from all the fan support since the actor is generally known for quite a different look, whether it is his slicked-back mane from 1978’s 'Grease', or his shoulder-length hair in Quentin Tarantino’s 'Pulp Fiction'.
In case the actor has changed his appeance for a role, it definitely wouldn't be his first time. The actor had previously changed his appearance to portray Robert Shapiro in Ryan Murphy’s 'American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson'.
However, there have been ample rumors suggesting that the actor has been bald for quite a few years, and it is only now that he has started to embrace his natural look. It is also said that the actor has spent the past few decades covering up his hairless head with a variety of wigs.
"Waited more than 40 years to see your natural look!" one fan wrote on Instagram. "You look great! I would keep it this way, seriously." Another wrote, "You look younger with no hair!" and one fan commented, "About time you knocked those naughty wigs on the head."
A few months ago, Kirstie Alley opened up about her romance with the 'Grease' star and revealed why she never married him. “I almost ran off and married John [Travolta]. I did love him, I still love him. If I hadn’t been married, I would’ve gone and married him and I would’ve been in an airplane because he has his own plane.”
